جوملا در مسابقات سیستم های مدیریت محتوای سال 2011 برنده جایزه اول مسابقات شد. drupal در جایگاه دوم ایستاد و Plone سوم شد.

البته بهترین کارایی و بهترین جامعه سیستم های مدیریت محتوا را drupal از آن خودش کرد.

Jquery هم یکه تاز کتابخانه های جاوا اسکریپت بود.

About the Awards

The Open Source Awards is a contest that aims to encourage, support, recognize and reward Open Source projects.

Formerly the Open Source CMS Award, the contest has been running since 2006 and is regarded as one of the most established platforms for recognizing excellence amongst Open Source Software. Prize money given out since 2006 tops $100,000.

To identify the excellence among Open Source projects, public votes for the finalists in each category were combined with ratings from a panel of Judges.

Packt Publishing has no influence, input or say in the finalists or winners of any Award category.

Categories explained:

Open Source CMS-Every CMS that is based on one of the open source licenses is allowed to participate for this category

Open Source Mobile Toolkits and Libraries-This category is reserved for Open Source software that assist the development of applications for Mobile devices

Most Promising Open Source project- This category is reserved for all those open source projects that have had their first non-beta release within the past two years (of the date of the Award).

Open Source Business Applications -This category will be reserved for the type of Open Source web applications designed to support and help a company reach its commercial goals. This includes E-Commerce systems, ERP systems and CRM systems.

Open Source JavaScript Libraries -This category is reserved for JavaScript libraries, libraries of pre-written JavaScript controls which allow for easier development of RIAs (Rich Internet Applications), visually enhanced applications or smoother server-side JavaScript functionalities

Open Source Multimedia Software-This category is reserved for all Open Source software that is used for various ranges of multimedia, from audio editors/management to graphics and video editing software.

Timelines:

The Open Source Awards is split into two main stages. Firstly, nominations begin on 1st August 2011.

This will be your chance to put forward your favorite Open Source projects for each category to go through to the final voting stage.

The finalists in the voting stage will be announced at the beginning of September; and the Voting stage begins on 19th September 2011. Voting closes on 31st October 2011, with the winners announced throughout the week commencing 7th November 2011.
